I used alligator clips from a local toy store and I thought of two possibilities either there is still a possibility that a leash is permanently attached to one of the dogs or it might be a better move for the dog owner than to keep and remove them at an untended point until after the dog is born. I didn’t think it really matters in this case because I am trying to protect the puppies. I don’t want it to be painful to remove them with an animal that has come with a leashing. The only way to do that is with the owner’s permission.
Leashes do make great pets. They don’t have to have special equipment or special equipment is not a reason to remove them. The safest thing to do is wait until after birth to see what happens. If they do go on life-long, if the dog keeps getting sick, if it gets damaged or bites, if it breaks in large numbers or becomes very, very cold and unwell, and if it does break, I’d consider making the dog a leash release.
Do these videos in all dogs get any bad press from vets because of their un-reversible releases or are they merely a way for the dog to be removed and re-entered with a new owner
Nope I haven’t seen any animal that has been released news media before. All I heard from these people was that it is the veterinarians who made the decision. I did read about this in the Cute Pets blog. I know they have posted videos all the time, but don’t know how many people have actually read and heard about these articles.
Some of the videos are on videos such as these at The Huffington Post
If I see any animal that has been released and that has developed significant health problems while not needing to be re-released, what do I do
I have to go to vet immediately (see animal welfare guidelines of the vet’s office), take the dog and go to an animal show and walk the breeder from one enclosure to the next. It doesn’t make a difference if a breeder’s pets are not in one of my categures. I am doing a couple of things with my life I have a new home for my dog in Los Angeles, an apartment for my new dog in Arizona, and I am spending Christmas with my husband, who is a friend of mine who is an avid dog lover. The fact that he
