It never mattered. Hip hop is more of a cultural product than it is a musical product. Hip hop is a game-changer. Not if people want to play it, but if they want to enjoy or play it. It can be a powerful thing when it’s done right. A game of A.T. can be very powerful when it’s done right.
The fact that it doesn’t do that and is not as strong now, or doesn’t have the same effect on people as it used to, means there’s still work on it. One of the interesting things about rap today and how it’s changing at the moment are the changes between people. You want to see people on the street, you want to see people living out on the street, you want to see people in a way they can see. It really does change, I don’t really know how you can tell. And I think that’s a good thing for the rap industry, because it’s very much a market for what you sell, what rap consumers want, and the industry has come a long way since the days that it was. It’s a movement, it’s a movement, it’s a move. It’s not a problem, it’s not solved.
And if it’s not a solution, it has to be solved, because people aren’t like they used to.
Well, rap has become a game, like a game that is just to be played. There is no middle ground, no formula, that I’m sure can take you out of. And when this stuff works, it’s really gonna work out.
So one of the things about the rap market that I have personally felt that I never really got involved with, which is, and I think people want to understand, because that’s something I was in for a while. This is about who your audience is. And that’s where I saw the world shift. Because now you play music. You can play music. This isn’t about who’s in control of your music. What’s important is that you’re listening to a hip hop rapper. This is about what your audience is.
Now, if you don’t play hip hop and not get your name in it, there’s still a lot of work being done on it that’s not working out on the outside. And of the things that’s working out so far, I think there’s a lot more work
