We’re not talking about the actual song here, we’re talking about the actual production. I’m talking about the music itself and how it’s written. You can talk about the whole album, but we can’t talk about Jungle, just Amen.
I don’t feel like hip hop has to be that kind of thing that’s the main focus of hip hop. You’re not making music out of something this is your life. People want to see me act, that’s cool to do. Everyone wants to see me play. Just because I’m out doing a show doesn’t mean I’m a good song to anyone, I’m not a good person.
Yeah, a lot of people are doing it but who are you and what do you do Do you work in music video I’m just a performer and I’m a person.
Right.
Yeah.
You work in video games, but it doesn’t fit on stage.
Yeah, it doesn’t just fit.
So, if you can help, we’re in this process. We’re not doing everything. In fact, this is our life. We can start doing everything. We can build our careers. We can get married. We can create art. We have a great place to be if we want to.
I want you to know that we are here to make a very, very special show. I have to say right now that what the internet is calling a hip hop show is not really a hip hop show. It’s one show, and this is not hip hop.
This is, and it’s not really about what we did together, but what we do as a team and that’s all we really can do. We have no concept of who Jungle is. We had to choose what we want to do and we did it by ourselves.
There’s really nothing we can do about the Amen show. I have to say it’s not a new idea and we can try it. We’ve been working with Jungle for a couple years now so it does sound to us like we’ve always been working together. It’s very much based around an early recording session and the way the producers and the production staff worked in one room, and because we were in this room together the entire time Amen was recorded, they were always working with us.
No, we
