The government is making grants to provide housing vouchers to those with disabilities who have difficulty finding jobs but don’t have financial means to move in and out of the federal system.
For the first 25 years, the federal government awarded 3.1 billion in grants to people in need or to help them move to permanent housing.

If you live in Washington D.C., the recipient is provided with information about the Housing First Act, such as your city or zip code, and the number of people eligible to receive the grant.

What happens if you die
For those dying every day, you can call the federal Disability Tax Financing Program. It pays to provide cash (food, fuel, clothing) to someone who can’t work but is able to pay income tax and disability taxes on their federal disability benefit payment at any time.
