Hip hop dance technique and hip hop rap.
Do you have any ideas to address an audience or have you heard a few songs where you feel like this is just your opinion but I am interested in how they feel
I have listened to more hip hop music over the past year than I do traditional music. It is not my style. I am not playing on your side and you should listen to my music to see if there is any similarity with the style or not. This is not about style. This is about a person. A person that is a person.
You have talked about your career style. What is your experience with that
I’ve known many rappers who came before me in my career. I was really interested in hip hop music when I was in college. I knew what was expected of me and when rappers came to my shows, I knew what I needed to do to get there. It was something that was difficult at the beginning for me, but it really helped me.
I do feel like I am learning to be more hip hop based on the words I have used in my career since then.
I think some people are trying to make use of your style by making a reference to that.
I am a fan of Garden State of Mind. I believe it is definitely a reference to the movie Garden State and we all came across it in the 30 Rock Show on my channel.
I read the lyrics of The Best Thing Ever Is… a song about the Garden States and my parents didn’t want them to have to leave the state because the song was about drugs.
You went to The University of Kansas as a sophomore. What are your thoughts about that
I think it was a great experience at a University College North Kansas. I knew very quickly that my love of hip hop music was growing but there were other people who were listening to music other than myself so I wanted to be able to do that in a different direction. I was already doing that in my last 5 years of college.
Did you ever consider yourself a hip hop enthusiast
I never really thought I would reach that level of success. I was always looking for an opportunity and I liked having some opportunity on my side. I would like to be able to do what I believe or what I thought was needed to get there.
