If I was able to enroll in a program that was authorized by a local government, what can I do The following is an outline of some of the ways that local governments can obtain a grant
Local governments can collect up to 5 of their local general fund expenses for schools and other facilities (if applicable) if they meet certain basic criteria. These criteria include local budget constraints low funding levels poor education or health conditions the educational resources needed to maintain a high standard of living a low enrollment rate lack of funding for schools or other facilities and the ability to pay for them. If the funds are not available, the grant does not have to be approved by a council and will not be considered for federal funding under the current Education Assistance Amendments. For example, if a local government seeks funding for a school bus program, the federal grant can be used to pay the bus company for operating bus services and for bus maintenance but can not be used to support a school that operates a school district. The local government can collect this funding only if (A)(1) it is reasonably likely that the bus company in question will provide bus services that meet the applicable funding criteria and (B) it
