I would definitely give it 3 stars, and 1 because I’m a great dog trainer and he’s such a great friend.
It’s not the first time that a family member’s death has come to the attention of the dog-rearing industry. A similar incident unfolded in 2011, where two mothers were shot to death by two-year old Labrador retrievers near a dog park near their home in South Philadelphia.
It wasn’t until 2014 that the Dogs of Love, a rescue group founded by former D.C. police officers Michael DeMoro and John R. Wilson said it received a number of calls from concerned families and was fully invested in the recovery of their neglected puppy. (See Puppies Will Save Lives and Why It’s Not About Getting a Dog.)
The DeMoro rescue also took its focus west during the 2015 Black Lives Matter movement. A white man was brutally murdered by a black man for saying that he is not a white man and, well, he’s not white.
It’s a tragedy because, if you’re white, you don’t live in our society, said DeMoro, who has been with the nonprofit for 15 years. My focus has been to try to put together the best recovery from this tragedy.
The deMoro rescue also took a more radical approach, donating 4 million to a black cancer research organization in 2015 and using exposure prevention, emotional health programming, and social change campaigns to support its cause.
In addition to its donation of funds, there might be an interesting part of DeMoro’s organization that may go into a deeper role in the recovery process.
The organization’s official website states that Dogs of Love, founded in May 2015 by former D.C. police officer Michael DeMoro, offers a unique combination of community support and holistic education to help individuals with behavioral and other disabilities recover from their pasts.
After the killing of Michael and three others in May, the organization received the call from people wishing to know something different about that person, the organization’s founder said.
In February, a black mother reported that she was shocked to learn of her dog’s death because in her household her son’s mother was black. The mother told NBC News that when she brought her son in to investigate the incident the family got a call about him in the neighborhood. The mother told her son’s name and home address,
