I wish people could do what I do. But I have friends that would not.
Why did you quit your job as a painter
I had a lot of crazy things happen. My manager at the time, John F. Buckley, who has always been great at taking his employees home. He always had me there and kept me on at least two jobs. I had a lot of other stuff with him, like my painting, too.
Do you have hobbies that make you happy
I have a love for photography and I read a lot of books, mainly Science Fiction and Fantasy, and I do some really bizarre things.
There were a few things in my life that made you happy, as well.
There were people that helped out with some things. We had a house on the outskirts of town (not really a city) but we actually had a couple of good people there that I liked. I went out for one night, and my husband and I went down to town. We went inside a big building and I saw some really interesting stuff. I thought it was awesome.
Do you enjoy playing videogames, or playing a game, or whatever
I do all of the things I like to do, but I can’t sit anywhere and watch people play on video games.
Are you taking vacations
Not at all. I do my own things. I do my own things with my kids whenever I can (the kids come to this show often) and I don’t do too much business with my friends, not that I’ve ever.
I love reading books. How did you become friends with one such author
I would have friends, but I am not one.
Did you ever go to conferences
Not really. I read books all the time. It’s almost impossible for you to do that when you are an author.
Were there any books you wrote
Only my first fiction.
Do you really have a job
I can’t tell it apart. But I am reading a lot, and I am doing more than just reading books.
What do you do for a living
I’m not a food blog. I’m a freelance writer.
Why did you decide to become one
I love teaching. The more I learn and the better I feel.
