When I created my first brushstrokes in the early 80’s I was still very young, but my style began to develop really quickly. I was going really crazy with new brushes and I realized that I’d actually had a lot of fun. The next phase of my art career began quite quickly. In 1987 I finally came across a new form of paint, Photoshop. When I learned of the power of Photoshop, I felt that it could be my inspiration once again. However, what I didn’t get was an application tool so I couldn’t use Adobe Illustrator to create my own. Even though I started to be inspired by the amazing and vibrant colorways, like the bright colors of the blue skies and the reds of the hills, I didn’t really care for my brushes as much.
How long have you been painting
I’ve been painting for almost 60 years now. It really hasn’t gotten any better (since 2005-2008) as far as my career went. My first brushstrokes were done in the early 80 years, I’m pretty much dead on. I started using Photoshop for several years before making the jump to painting in 2005. Now, I still paint my brushes in one sitting.
What do you work on, what paints, and how long is it going to take to finish the painting
I’m still getting closer to finishing. I’ve spent 10 years drawing all of my paintings, and still have a lot of painting to do. I have worked with different artists because one is amazing from my home at the timebut I love working with other artists.
The most challenging aspect of my painting is actually finding a color I’m happy with. Most of my time is spent developing and getting used to my work. For me, the most challenging of all is finding an ideal color, and how it affects how it looks on the finished project. When it comes to color, it’s usually color-specific but I like to take the time I use to discover other colors for what they might help with my painting.
What are some of the most important things you know when working on your own work
I’m really happy about the creative process. It was really easy to learn as little as possible. Everything that you do can be done with no problem. And, of course, I’m extremely thankful that I took the time to write a lot of this essay. The way I started out is this, I don’t really spend too
