A lot of merchants and sellers seem to avoid listing this type of item. But if you are trying to sell a small item to a small buyer (think a small business owner), and a company sells it at a low price for only pennies, then you have to do some pretty heavy selling.
Now if your item is small, you’ll still need money. That’s the beauty of online auctions and you probably won’t do it as fast as you think, but if that is the case, a seller is probably at least willing to accept low prices on items that are in their inventory while still making a profit.
If you are selling products to a friend, this process is still very easy and is done in about 30 seconds. The average time it takes to make a sale on the internet is 1 minute about the same time it takes a full day of sales.
However, if you are getting paid to do this, your selling time is probably already significantly longer. And if your item is large, you will need more time to make a good profit.
There is a bit of a paradox here for every person you talk to, there is a buyer who’s selling small items, and for a lot of sellers, they’re selling their small items to a bigger buyer. For online sellers in general, however, the two are essentially mutually exclusive.
