Our 75,000 in funding came from a combination of generous donations from our community. It was a gift from my father who is an awesome person and friend who just loved my book. My brother is a fantastic person who is really good at math and just loves programming and is passionate about supporting me on the blog and on social media. We also helped support the book in a non-profit called Maven-USA.

We had all this crazy questions and lots of information. For example one guy asked what were the biggest questions that people in the business wanted to ask you and one thing we answered was that 200k would solve all of them. 20k means an extra 5,000. We didn’t know if our plan was to just fund three people. We started thinking that 200k would be enough enough for everyone. We believe that every entrepreneur needs 100k. We decided on 5k because everybody likes to be rich and money comes first and the best way we can do it is by doing this.
How does your family feel about Kickstarter
We are very grateful for our backers so much and we hope we will make money for our backers. We got a total of 100,000 pledges from 500 people during my first Kickstarter which was a wonderful start.
What is your goal for 2016 Do you need to raise over 100k to fund an idea What will you be doing on Kickstarter
The goal is to get all of the funding we had from 3rd party sources and not to raise any more because we want a better experience for our customers. Our goal is to help hundreds of thousands of people and all our other projects are really simple
