Sharia law may be applied to dance, but it is not a prerequisite for being a judge. As the Islamic Court (IRA) puts it, the law is one where everyone has a right to dress up but, in practice it is quite clear that dance, like all of life, is not the same as other activities and is an integral part of all of life.
In the beginning people began learning dance and dancing was part of life. However it was not until the end of the first millennium, when women began to dance more fully and begin to live together, that it began to be socially acceptable to dance with men to make love to.
This practice continues to get more and more widespread today and is still not universally accepted, but no one is quite sure at what point in the past the laws were changing completely.
In the early 1990s and early 2000s, there was a growing movement to allow couples to engage in religious practices. The concept in America is a little different. Marriage is only allowed for those partners who have decided to marry for the reason that, among other things, they feel more secure in their marriages and are more secure in their own health. Therefore, if you do marry a woman, you are officially marrying her. So the concept of Sharia law is no longer part of marriage law. In fact, people now try to restrict women’s legal rights by using their legal powers to limit women’s rights and the rules on what is acceptable (i.e. if they don’t like something they may force them to do something, something that could make their marriage invalid so it may not be allowed to go forward).
As a result, some states have passed bans on the practice of dance but not even women’s legal rights are completely out of the question. According to a 2011 Pew Research Center study, only 21 of the United States has no law allowing women to perform legal sex.

In the U.S., there is no other form of dance that is truly acceptable to women. A lot of people think doing this is illegal and that it may lead to sexual promiscuity (in which case the answer is no that it makes no sense).
