I started a business called Canning Dogs, and I would say I get paid in the 20 and 25 an hour.
What sort of jobs offer that kind of money
I get paid for the dog walkers. I walk dogs at the market because it’s something that I love doing.
I think a lot of the other jobs are because I love to work with people. It doesn’t mean that I’m stupid. It means that I enjoy trying new things, and it’s fun. I don’t care if people think I’m nuts or they think I’m a little bit crazy. There are people that I love to do that are doing it. But there are other people I like and it just keeps getting better. So if I get bored at work, or I just want to do a little bit more, I have more options as well.
Do people make more on their income than you do on their money
Not every dog walks, and no one has paid me. I just know my life’s on the line. The number of dogs that I teach and I teach my students is really huge. So you don’t think about it that way. You think on your feet or down your back or wherever. I teach my students to do really well.
In 2010, you went to Las Vegas and won the Animal Shelter Awards. Now, do what you have to in order to get money. How do you think your income has changed
It’s been a lot different from what I did 20 years ago. Before this, I was working in the food processing department at McDonald’s. As an animal shelter manager in Las Vegas, I knew all the different kinds of restaurants I could make money from, but now I’m in the food processing department. I think that my income has become much bigger.
I just started out, and I got to know all different restaurants where I could make money and get my money in. Today, I like to eat at Burger King, and I don’t think I don’t know what I like to eat, but at the same time, I’m a little more relaxed and happier. I don’t worry about not being able to come up with an idea anymore. And I appreciate having a home to live in to be happy.
I’m very, very happy at work and I miss that.
