A young man who tried to steal a handgun and then attempted to enter a store near downtown Dallas was detained at a police station.
According to Sgt. Brian Schafer, the young man was transported to the Police Department, which he was released on the condition of not being identified.
I do not think it’s good enough for a young kid to go out and shoot a gun and then go through something like that, Schafer said. The police have an enormous responsibility to ensure their officers are doing their job and not giving their customers personal information.
