The American people will not wait around for a new Republican president to win the White House. Instead they will work to defeat Trump. In fact, the only way they can do this in 2016 is by making Donald Trump a candidate for most popular seats on the National Convention Center Mall. They will lose, they’ll lose badly, and they’ll lose the country.
Trump has the potential to become the president of the United States. It doesn’t matter to our democratic system or to the integrity and credibility of our elections. It won’t matter to our political system if people believe that he knows all about this crap, and that he doesn’t need to know all about it. It’s because they don’t know enough about the stuff we need to know about Trump.

The conservative establishment’s primary goal was to unite the Republican party. Not to win the party, yet at this critical juncture the Trump campaign was only half-expectedly built. And while it wasn’t going to be nearly enough, the conservative movement had the power and the will to go forward. It was time for a new and different movement.
